Tinker and Bill
Every home that I have photographed has been so unique and special; I am so grateful to be let into people’s lives in such an intimate way, and to be able give them something priceless in return.
While driving out to Tinker and Bill’s home I received an email that they would not be able to be there for the shoot because of a medical emergency. Homes are a reflection of ourselves - a pair of boots, a collection of old photographs, a rusted garden rake. They tell our stories, even after we are gone. With Housestories my inspiration always been to create something that will live forever, to provide a door that can be stepped through anytime, a door that can be shared and handed down. Someday even our homes will be gone, whether because we’ve moved or moved on. I’m grateful every time that I have an opportunity to tell a story, and I always will be.
