I started making a list of all of the places in Vancouver that I would like to photograph at some point, and near the top of that list was a lock fence I heard about at Pier Parks in New Westminster. The day after I started making the list, I got booked to do a shoot in New Westminster the following week. I guess it is true that if you put it out there it will come back. As it turns out, the locks are pretty sparse. I'll check back in a few years.
Initially I made a stop here to check out the flying saucer, but I was drawn in further by the ferris wheel and roller coaster.
An exceptionally nice feather resting on a pile of exceptionally nice leaves. I loved the colours and patterns that these two created.
Someday I'll actually take the time to learn what the different plants are that I see. For now, I'll just call this one 'pink flower tree in Stanley Park'
I find leaves fascinating. Well, most of them anyway. I like these ones.
I took my daughter for a walk at Queens Elizabeth Park, and then I took some photo of some trees and a giant dome. We also took some selfies, which you can check out on my Instagram page.
